Absolutely unreal, sure what did you expect from the Apple Store in the heart of San Fran!I felt like a borrower when I walked in as everything was so big, the tables are like banquet tables from GoT and there's enough staff to form an army! All this makes it a pretty sweet consumer experience. I bought a charger but I wish I could have bought every single item on display. The customer service was special. I was approached on three occasions by smiley staff and they ultimately sorted me out within five minutes. Although this is the epitome of Capitalism it's pretty cool all in all!

Half the staff at this store was unprofessional and rude.  The other half was nice and helpful. I had ordered and paid for a new iPhone, had scheduled in store pickup and received confirmation that it was ready.I walk into the story and every apple person is busy.  I see about 7 of them standing in a corner waiting for back room stock people to hand them a phone.  I walk over to ask for direction and some prick staff member ignores me for 5 minutes while he has a convo with other staff members about nothing relevant.  I single him out because he looks over at me several times with me trying to ask him a question and just continues ignoring.  Finally he asks me what I need and I explain that I am there to pickup an iPhone.  He looks annoyed and asks me why I am not waiting in line like everyone else.  I had not seen a line and asked him to point me in the right direction.  The line was on the side of the building away from the doors and was not visible when entering through the front of the building.I get in line and another apple person asks to see my confirmation email.  After showing him, he tells me that I don't have to wait in that line since I have already made the purchase and I can just go inside and pick it up....Back inside I go.  Spend another 5 min trying to get the attention of another apple employee.  Explain why I am there for a third time.  They direct me to a new in store queue, this one seems to be the right one.  I finally pick up the iPhone after waiting for another 20 min.I don't mind the waiting, it was busy, but the snarky attitudes from some of these employees and the all out unhelpful quick directions as though I am wasting their time is not appreciated.  Adam Savage was in the store waiting too so two stars because I got to see him, otherwise one star.

Worst customer service, brought in my mac for repair then when I get it back starts acting crazy and I simply ask for a replacement while they check it in again. She's offers to buy a new one for 14 days...wow

My adaptor of MacBook Pro was broken within the warranty period, made appt at 2:00pm this Sat and arrived at 1:58pm. However, nobody showed up until 2:20... Wth? I just glad they gave me a new adaptor so I don't need to come back...Btw, the bathroom is pretty dirty, and it looks like a travel spot which is full of tourist and annoying children. I give 2-stars cuz the staff were at least friendly and respectful.

Loved this Apple location! The bottom floor is filled with Apple products to try out and purchase.  The top floor is a large working area where you can have a seat and work on whatever you want.  They also have classes running in case you need to learn about the features of your products, or have other questions.  There are people there for help you fix product issues and just outside the large glass doors there's an open outdoor seating area where you can relax with your gadgets.  The design is amazing, the employees are very helpful, and the layout is relaxing.Highly recommended!

ain't hating apple store just don't know how to operate apple products. though i have an iphone. basics is all i know. lack the time to play/figure it out. had an easier time with a samsung android.plenty of associates around. got some attention but not much since i'm not geeky looking.-answers were quick in coming. -didn't want to ask too many since sales are what the associates are after.this apple store is in a great location, just across from the union sq. garage.

Absolutely the best customer at any Apple Store. I brought my small dog in with me to pick up some things and they were so accommodating and sweet to him. I really appreciate all of their help. Will definitely be back.

This Apple Store is absolutely stunning. There are huge glass doors at the entrance that slide open whenever there's good weather. The staff are incredibly helpful - as expected at any Apple Store - but they seem more eager to help you here than at other locations. My friend needed to get a replacement for his iPhone 6 since it had been acting up, and we were in and out in under 10 minutes (without ever scheduling an appointment). Super quick and easy. The location is pretty easy to get to, a short walk up to Union Square from Bart or Muni (Powell or Montgomery stations). Great place to go for those who live in the city.

Impressive design and I was really in awe at how big the store was. Terrible review is of their pre-order pick up experience for the iPhone 7. Even though pre-pay and select a check-in time to pick up your phone, once you get there they quote a wait of 2 hours...just to pick up the phone. If you decide to brave the line, you end up in a single file line...that splits off into 4 lines in their "grove" which then gets funneled into a last line in the store. I really wish they would've stopped taking pre-orders if they knew they couldn't handle the volume. Last time I pre-order an iPhone, definitely not worth the hassle.

Very Impressed with the Building Design.. Lots of normal Airflow.... Apple Customer Agents on the Floor to help..id come to this place to browse.. Most importantly appreciate the Architecture Design... Kudos to this new Tourist Spot..

I had huge user issues since I've had the phone and no training on how to use it except for two 1-hour group sessions upstairs.Anyway, Anthony helped me figure out why my safari screen was split in half. He solved my problem!I notice that all the staff don't wear name tags. Strange. Most retail establishments want to personalize the experience whereas Apple appears to want to de-humanize their staff.Duh, really? I had pre-ordered the phone and picked it up on the first day at the Stockton Street store.Since then, I can't tell you what a headache it's been to try to learn how to use the functions and features but also to realize how tethered I am to my AT&T data plan and something else. The main headache is having to go to the Apple Stockton store and try to get answers and my solve problems.Since day 1 with the phone, I've been at the Apple store almost every other day. The first day I got my phone I had a small amount of data on my plan. Within 24 hours, I had exceeded that limit 3xs because I didn't know that I had windows open and that when I left the store my phone would be roaming. There is no manual book in the product box.I had to go into the store and approach impatient store staff, wait in line (even when I have a knee injury and have a visible ACE bandage on my knee - no one offered me a chair), not get all my answers taken care of, have staff sort of help me and then say they have to help someone else and walk away. Two days ago, I finally attended a short class. But it was a hassle to even sign up for the class because the store staff didn't seem to understand the English I was speaking when I asked to sign up for a class! Why is that? Why aren't there display panels so the course listings are visible to the eye instead of having to go on-line on a laptop to see what the classes are.Just two days ago, I had to take an elevator to get to the 2nd floor because I can't walk up (due to my knee). And a woman customer and her male companion were trying to get out of the elevator when the door arrived on Floor 1. I was just waiting and standing in front of the door. And she tried to chew me out saying, "Why don't you wait until people get off the elevator before trying to push your way in???" Really, lady? I have a injured knee (which you didn't even notice. I was standing still. And you had so much impatience and hostility from being in this store or whatever that you need to chew out an injured person? This store is creating hostility in people. This made me think: all these Apple store staff are walking around, totally stressed, trying to process masses and masses of people. They aren't looking at people on a personal level- as if we are human beings. They're looking at people as if they're numbers needed to be processed. The staff pushing carts along the floor push customers aside to get by rather than let the customer go first !?!?!Where did all these Apple store employees learn customer service?Actually, it seems as if they have no training in this area. Many are too young to know this.My idea of customer service is to make the customer happy so they will be happy with the product and happy with the brand. This isn't the case at this Apple store. Someone in management is telling the workers they need to spend as little time as possible with each person and to get their quota of people processed (obviously). To me, this is a total failure of customer service in a retail environment. And although I've had the phone for less than 2 weeks., I wonder if I want to keep it because if I ever have a problem, I have to go back to this store.I almost didn't want to give this review any stars in fact. Except for the fact that I ran into a young man who helped me the day after I picked up my phone. I waved at him (Eric) and he remembered me. He said he wondered if I would keep my phone because of my data plan mess. I said I still have the phone and I had just attended the class. But then I told him my opinion about the customer experience I've had in this store and vented my feelings; he said that employees were trying to make changes and improve.I hope so.Because, any retail store - and especially Apple  who I hold at a higher standard - should make customer experience a priority. Who doesn't realize that from the time a customer walks into a store and talks to any staff member that they are forming an opinion about the experience and the product and the brand.Apple may make wonderful, innovative products that dazzle and amaze us all. But that's not what I'm thinking right now. Right now top of mind is:  I've had to endure an extremely  unpleasant experience at Apple store and it most likely will not change. And it makes me think: Is this phone worth it !?????????????!! The new Apple Store opened today in Union Square. It is gorgeous. Open and spacious. The team is very excited and happy about their new space. Today, I stopped in to get a repair on my phone. They checked me in and I was helped in just minutes. There is an awesome patio out back to relax and to connect with other Apple fanatics. I Love Love Love the new store! Thank you to Dylan and Brandon for getting the job done for me today ... with ease and with a smile.

This is about the new location in Union square. I went with my friend to get boba guys and we ended up stumbling open a nice courtyard with nice tables right next to the Hyatt and just a block a way from boba guys. We noticed this courtyard was adjacent to what appeared to be an Apple Store. I was a bit perplexed since I remember the Apple Store being on Stockton street. We decided to go inside the store and then realized it was the grand opening of the place. Super neat! The first floor is only enclosed on 3 sides and has a bunch of the Apple electronics. The second floor is really neat and has a large screen showing Apple products, along with tables with some apple laptops, a bunch of box stools for people to sit on. This top floor is really a place for people to just chill. The place is indeed "chill" since it gets a full breeze coming from the open wall that faces union square. It ended up being a nice place where my friend and I could finish up our drinks. I could see this top floor being a really nice study area too since each of the 4 - 5 long tables (can fit about 10 people per table) each had ac outlets and Ethernet jacks that would pop up from the table when you pushed on it.It was funny being here on the grand opening because even the Apple employees were taking photos of each other and posing.I would come back here again!

I've been a long time Apple fan and have bought their premium products for more than a decade. Yesterday, we had to go for service because a newly bought iPhone 6S wouldn't charge anymore. After waiting 2 hours as a walk-in, we were told that they couldn't do warranty replacement at the store and that the phone needed to be sent out. At that point, we opted to pay $300 to have the phone replaced out of warranty. During the same visit, we tried to fixed an issue with the iTunes account which locked because of the new phone. They were totally helpless and we were told to wait 24 hours for them to email us. This was my first apple service need in a really long time.  I recall that they used to be able to fix things on the first call or visit. What's happened to this iconic company is just sad. It feels as if we were taken for granted and they are behaving like the monopoly that they have become.  I hope this great company changes course. I really don't want to buy a Samsung phone.

The new Apple Store is simply stunning.  What a modern concept mixed with a San Franciscan openness.  Very clever.  However, the people working at this store are too aggressive.  I don't know if it's because there are more employees than customers but they create a very stressful experience.  As soon as I entered the store, several  employees started to continuously asking me if I needed help or try to engage me in a conversation.  This is very nice but I was there to decide which watch I wanted, so I needed to browse peacefully so I could make a decision.I left the store after 5 minutes or so because I needed to get away from these salespeoples.  I needed space. Now I understand why Apple created the BREATHE app.  These employees definitely need to relax and let customers enjoy the beauty of Apple products and the store.

Place is a lot of fun, great food, tons of choices.  Milk shakes are a must.  My kids always ask to eat here when we are in town.

6/29/2016

Wow, this place is absolutely awful. It's hard to tell what's going on, and the workers don't do a very good job of outreaching to visitors and directing them appropriately. I made a Genius Bar appointment and they were late, which is really just unacceptable given the difficulty of getting an appointment in the first place. Apple should be ashamed of this place -- all flash, all completely worthless. It's really just built for tourists and nobody else.

These people are horrible. They made me wait for half an hour!! Just to say "oh, there are two people ahead of you" those two people were ahead of me 2 hrs ago!!! R U Freaking serious!! Horrible customer service!!! Apple you better improve your customer service, if you don't want to loose your customers!!! The staff are on their ipad, acting busy, in reality, they are just chit chatting with one another. They act busy!!!

9/11/2015

Rude much? Perhaps you could smile to me and actually look into my eyes when talking to me? I am the customer, not my name on the ipad. No, I didn't make an appointment, but you told me 3 hours and now it's been 3 and half hours. There hasn't been clear instructions about what to do or where to go. Perhaps these apple employees need to remember we don't know the Apple eco system like they do.At least my phone was replaced But then they didn't check to make sure it had proper service. I couldn't make calls or use data. Walked back into the store and spent another hour there while they called the Network provider. A whole day..gone. Let first let me take a selfie!

I purchased an iphone online to have it delivered to the store.  I was given a timeframe but later learned that the store had the item in stock.  I went in person to see what my options were, but was told that I needed to request a refund for the initial online order THEN RE-purchase it at the store.WTF???I waited a few more days and checked the status online.  Finally I made contact with the online CSM who explained that I purchased the phone in such a manner to "speed up the process."  How the F*CK is this speeding up the process??? I ordered online, they took my money, their phone is in stock, but I'm still without the phone?Maybe I should go back online, cancel the order for the refund, then purchaseThe NEXUS Phone.
