I wandered into this peaceful healing center while on a rare lunch break.  And while I have had just two sessions with Dr. Luck, I'm fairly certain it may have been divine intervention that sent me in that day at lunch!  Ha!  I have had 20 years of struggle getting my back to move.  I have been to over a dozen chiropractors, many with marginal enough success that I have returned sometimes for years.  But none could actually get more than my neck to truly free up and move.Until Dr Luck.I could suppose he has strength, depth of training, experience, is crazy smart---and I think he had all of those traits --- but what I notice is his deep ability to truly tune in and listen to your body.  He seems to intuit the exact moment it rests just enough, opens just enough, that he can shift it.  In just two sessions, parts on my spine and rib cage are releasing quite literally years of holding.  I know I have a way to go, but I'm so excited to see how much I can open my spine and my ribs. The front desk staff are so kind and positive, helpful and easy to work with--they are a delight and add to the character and personality of the center.I'm SO grateful to Dr Luck and to fate for telling me to "walk in" one sunny day.

BEWARE: Doctor caused serious injury.  I went in for a back adjustment with Dr. Todd Boyd, and he adjusted my foot 'for free' (without asking) given I'm a runner.  He claims to adjust the feet for the UC Berkeley's entire men's Lacross team.  I was unable to walk for almost a week (on crutches), have had to go see an orthopedic surgeon (luckily I have good insurance), have had severe restrictions to my activities, and am in long term psychical therapy.   When I called him from home telling him I could not walk on my foot and it was making loud snapping noises, he told me the key was walking lots more on it more to re-establish a gaping pattern.  This was EXACTLY wrong according to my surgeon--RICE (Rest, Ice, Compress, Elevate) is what should occur following a severe soft tissue injury.  Todd is super nice and kind, and seems like a great guy, but I was pretty seriously injured.  He should find a new line of work that utilizes his excellent interpersonal skills. The staff here is A++.  They are all super kind, it's very clean, the staff check the insurance, and are very kind people.  Getting an appointment is easy, but avoid allowing them to adjust your foot.  It's really killed my year. I had zero feet issuing going in (only back issues). Matt

Amazing! Dr. Luck has adjusted my back several times and it feels better than ever. He is very professional and explains what he is doing and why he is doing it. The staff is very kind and accommodating, and they bring therapy dogs to the office twice a week! I have recommended them to my friends and coworkers and I will continue doing so. I love that they take insurance!

For the massage I got here with Felipe - 5 stars! For the front desk service - 5 stars! She was able to fit me in on a moment's notice when I was on my way to work and was having some serious neck and shoulder pain. My usual place wasn't open and I had never been to this one. Found it here on Yelp.Only problem: dog in the office that comes up and licks and jumps all over patients. Not cool!! Hey, I like dogs. But I don't like dogs off leash in a waiting room coming up and sniffing me, licking my toes, and jumping up on people while they're lying on chiropractic or massage tables. Seriously. Gross and unprofessional. I would definitely go to Felipe again, but not to this place again. Also - they share a restroom with a separate area of the building that also houses the State Bar Exam, so you basically have to go through airport-style security in order to use the restroom. Inconvenient.

We just started having Lorenzo, our 10lb mini poodle puppy in our office on Tuedays and Thursdays and until your review the feed back has been overwhelmingly positive. He is our Therapy dog in training, is hypoallergenic, and most of the time is quite calm and loving. He was having a "puppy moment" when you were here, which we are much more sensitive to since your review and we now put him on a leash at the first sign of misbehaving. I agree that having him jump and lick is not professional and we are training him away from these behaviors but we still allow him off leash to facilitate his calming interactions with our patients. If there is anything I can do to make you more comfortable with returning to our office please let me know. Read more 6/9/2016

Michelle Schneider and Bridget Schuler are awesome. They will fix what ails you! Dr. Luck is a good chiropractor too.

I was so excited when I saw this acupuncture/massage/chiropractic clinic. Went inside to get more information the office manager and another gentlemen was seating at the front desk. I believe her name was Liz but I could be mistaking because so many names was giving to me upon me asking about Reiki, acupuncture, and other information. I did not like the way I was greeted, secondly I scheduled an appointment on there web site which they said someone would contact me (but I was "NEVER" contacted), I then contacted them the next day and was placed on "hold" with a broken hold button because it sounded as though a button was just being pressed in my ear, thirdly when the person got back on the phone he said, 'well I have no recond of you setting an appointment' however I received an email from there facility and last but not least I asked for another appointment date since my request was unanswered and that date and time was no longer available (sinve that day and time has now past). I was open for other dates and times but only one time was offered and several days later was the only other choice given. He never asked what I was coming in for or anything or the severity of my injury. Customer service was horrible during my several attempts to make an appointment. I felt excited and let down just as fast.

We strive to accommodate all of our patients and I feel that we let you down.  One of your questions was about Reiki- we don't currently have a therapist who does that but I can give you a referral to one who used to work here. I hope that you will give us a 3rd chance.(also, our hold music is fixed, thanks for the heads up) Read more 2/26/2016

First time ever going to a chiropractor.  Didn't know what to expect, but Dr. Lloyd is a very good listener and really does know what he's doing.  Made me feel comfortable and I was able to explain exactly how I was feeling and what led me to feel what I was feeling on my neck and upper back.  Glad to be a customer in great hands.

This place is great!  I go for the acupuncture and massage with Bridget and she is awesome.  the staff at reception are very friendly and helpful and they are always willing to help out if need be.

Rincon Chiropractic has some of the best massage therapists I have been to, and Dr Luck is a fabulous chiropractor and person! I started seeing Dr Luck after a car accident the end of August, and I unfortunately am not able to go to Rincon Chiropractic any longer because I moved out of the area. Dr Luck's treatments have helped my healing tremendously, and the body work and acupuncture provided by their team has been a plus as well. There are not to many places that are as full service, professional, friendly, and well trained as the team at Rincon Chiropractic! Thanks you all, and I wish I were still there to continue my treatments with you.

Clean office and right around the corner from my work. Dr. Luck is a great chiropractor and is really good at getting out my knots and relieving the tension from my back and neck. They also have walk-in massage deals that are reasonably priced for the area.

Good docs, fast appts.  All-in-all a good experience!

Love Dr. Lloyd! He's a really nice guy, great chiropractor, always listens, and very laid back. Been going here per the recommendation of a coworker and haven't regretted it for a minute!

I found this place on yelp and after reading some great reviews, I decided to book a chair massage appointment on a Saturday afternoon. For parking, you can usually find free two-hour parking spaces along Main St next to the Lumina construction site. The office isn't a spa-like environment as it is more medical focused I assume. Michelle was great. I came out of the massage feeling refreshed and relaxed. Very strong but at a good level. I'll definitely visit again soon. Fairly priced at $1 a minute.

I can't say enough good things about Ethan. I've had a lot of massages but he really knows how to work out my knots. Highly recommend him.

Came here for the advertised $20 for 20minute chair massage during lunch.  Been running a lot and working sitting at a desk.  The first time I walked in at 12:00pm on a Tuesday and they were booked until 2:00pm.  Made an appointment for 12:20pm Wednesday.  Got there today and was early.  They were able to take me early and Deborah did a great job and in a few minutes gave me some quick diagnostics about why my back is stiff.  (She works Tues, Weds, and Sat)The reason it's not 5 stars is that I feel that for a massage place, the ambiance is very...sterile.  Much more a doctors office than a massage parlor.  But if you don't mind the lack of soothing music, tranquil waterfalls, and luxurious smells, then this place is just great for a quick lunch time tune up.

I want to let you know that we do have a more spa like Massage room, with soothing sounds and smells, that we use for table massages. We use our Exercise and Rehabilitation room for chair massage and you are right, it does have a more sterile / therapeutic feel. Based on your feedback I've added a stereo and will make some design changes to make it a more peaceful environment.  Thanks again for you feedback! Read more 12/17/2013

The front desk staff was really nice. My masseur was very nice, but chatted the whole hour and his tennis shoes smell really bad, so it was a total distraction when I was laying on my stomach.Price was moderate and flexible schedule, good location.

My back was feeling a little tweaked and my neck could really just turn in one direction. This is what happens when you fall asleep twice in two nights on the worlds most comfortable couch. I reached out to a few friends for a place to go for a chair massage and Marie suggested Rincon. Since I was headed in that direction I thought I would give it a try. I drove across town from the Castro to the SOMA in no time. I am happy to report that I found plenty of available metered parking meters that take credit cards. How convenient is that? Save your quarters for the laundromat and/or strip clubs. The check in process was a breeze and a few minutes later, I had an expert masseuse working my back and neck. I only had time for a ten minute massage, but this was all I really needed to get my spine back into shape. The price was reasonable, 10 dollars for 10 minutes which for a quality massage like this I would have gladly paid double. No appointment necessary, but I would highly recommend that you call ahead and make sure they can take you. Thank you for fixing my back.

Love this place Dr. H is amazing, Ethan is a massage magician and Bridgett's acupuncture is great. I love when people love what they do and care!

I had an amazing 60 minute deep tissue massage with Deborah. My neck, shoulders, and upper back were knotted and tense from a lot of driving and computer work. She has a careful kneading technique that effectively loosened my knots but didn't leave me sore and hurt from the pressure. I will be back to see her regularly for my stress release.
